Mayor Bill Finch joined members of the East Side community today to celebrate the demolition of 405 Knowlton Street, the future site of Knowlton Park, a 5-acre waterfront park.
Knowlton Park is one of the projects key to the City’s efforts to recapture the waterfront and its Parks Master Plan. The Mayor, who displayed renderings of the new park explained that the demolition was just the first of several phases that will bring a waterfront park to the neighborhood, for all residents to enjoy.
